The name Yê-dahë Bî is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Yê-dahë Bî was founded by Tshîb Glkdsh, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Yê-dahë Bî has a yearly average temperature of 27°C (80°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 29°C (84°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a pleasant 25°C (77°F). Yê-dahë Bî receives an average of 263 cm/y (103 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Yê-dahë Bî covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2488 m (8162 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Yê-dahë Bî was founded durring the late 12th century in summer of the year 1072, by Tshîb Glkdsh. The establishment of Yê-dahë Bî suffered from several major issues, resulting in the need to develop many solutions to basic problems. Problems such as a lack of fresh water, logistical support, poor quality tools, and the odd monster or two. Howeaver, these were overcome in time.
Yê-dahë Bî was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the late 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Yê-dahë Bî is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Yê-dahë Bî is buildings are speckled and packed arround narrow cobblestone streets with seemingly no patern to them. It appears as if the town's residents simply built streets as they pleased and squeazed buildings in wherever and howeave rpossible, creating an organic, frustrating to navigate, maze of a town. The town sits behind an impressive looking clay brick wall. The wall is notable for querried stone blocks being used to renforce the clay bricks in the expected manner and locations. While the wall was built to the exact specifications of modern fortifications, one has to wonder why the money invested into creating such a well fortified wall wasnt spent on a less impressive looking wall crated from sturdier materials. Yê-dahë Bî's walls would endure a brief bombardment, but only from light siege weapons. It seems more likly the town's walls were not designed with defence in mind but rather lending the town a certain air with visitors. Unfortuantly, these boondoggle-of-a-fortified wall are in extreem disrepair, so much so that one cannot tell if they are decaying from a lack of mantance or damage incured.
A look around Yê-dahë Bî gives you an uneasy feeling. Everything is just a little too worn down, a little too dirty, or both. No one makes eye contact. Kids play quietly, but happily. Occasionally a passerby glances at you out of the corner of their eye, staring just long enough for it to be uncomfortable. A second look around Yê-dahë Bî makes it abundantly clear the town suffered something horrible some time ago. It's as if the town itself is depressed. Smiles are few, cheer is nowhere to be had.
Civic Infrastructure
Yê-dahë Bî has an Office of Civil Groundskeeping, which works to enforce local ordinances relating to the construction and upkeep up of all plant life, water features, and other natural decorations within Yê-dahë Bî. They are also responsible for the maintenance of these features. Notably, the OCG is not responsible for Yê-dahë Bî's parks.
Yê-dahë Bî has an Office of Civil Vicary, which is responsible for providing a livelyhood for all officialy recognised religious figures within Yê-dahë Bî.
Yê-dahë Bî has a government-funded child care program, overseen by the local Department of Nursemaids, which is responsible for providing childcare to working-class citizens according to local ordinances.
Yê-dahë Bî has a Gravedigger's Guild, which is responsible for collecting the dead and laying them to rest according to all applicable laws and religious customs.
Yê-dahë Bî has a Highwayman's Guild, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Yê-dahë Bî has a Hall of Slayers, which is tasked with maintaining the roads and highways leading into town as well as keeping them safe for travelers.
Yê-dahë Bî has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Yê-dahë Bî's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.
Yê-dahë Bî possesses a Galvanic Power Grid, which brings galvanic current to most if not all buildings in town, and permits a great many consumer goods to function within the Town. Yê-dahë Bî's grid is powered by a direct leyline tap.
Yê-dahë Bî's old civil lighting system was converted to Galvanic Lamps recently, and expanded to provide nighttime illumination to all city streets.
Yê-dahë Bî has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands. They are not to be confused with the Office of Civil Groundskeeping as they do not hold authority over nor responsibility for Yê-dahë Bî's natural decorations nor waterways.
Yê-dahë Bî has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.
Yê-dahë Bî has a public septic system, which allows its citizens to have indoor bathrooms. The septic system is overseen by the League of Sewerkeepers, who posses the legal authority to enforce all laws relating to the septic system, and are also tasked with its maintenance and upkeep.
Cultural Notes
Yê-dahë Bî is led by one or more incompetents. While they must have been very good at something to have acquired the position, they are fundamentally incapable of leading. Uncontrolled passions or lusts, commitment to a hopelessly impractical ideal, pigheaded obstinacy in the face of failure, a total lack of charisma or interpersonal skills, or profound laziness might all unfit them for their post.
Yê-dahë Bî's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its striking sculptural forms and often dazzling ornamental detail that characterizes the buildings general shape. The radiant colors, rich patterns, and symmetrical silhouettes employed by this style were backed up by rich decorative features including gardens, courtyards, extruded arches, domes, pointed domes, vaulted ceilings, elaborate painted and inlaid designs, and decorative sculptures.
In Yê-dahë Bî snow is warm to the touch and does not melt within city limits. Also it only happens during summer.
Yê-dahë Bî's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves creating small tokens to channel Summoning energies of tier 2 via mimery.

In time immemorial, reportedly some time during the early 2nd century Yê-dahë Bî was struck by unseasonably warm weather, causing a sweltering heat to smouther the land for 23 days. Yê-dahë Bî lost 225 people and 321 livestock in the disaster.. The deadly heat is remembered by most as the Doom's Flame.
